Director of Operations
Ben is a master multitasker who thrives on providing quick response times, getting accurate answers and moving business forward. The team encounters this pace daily as Ben takes his responsibility for all activities surrounding the operations of ZAK Products and ZAKTEK seriously.
He overseas logistics, the distribution center, product lifecycle and inventory for ZAK Products and leads the strategy and management of ZAKTEK.
Executive Creative Director
If it has the ZAK, ZAKTEK, or NEXEMO logo on it, Brian owns it! Brian joined ZAK in 2015 after a long tenure at the Dallas Mavericks. He makes anything and everything ZAK look amazing.
Brian’s eye for design, branding and imaging extend from product label design, to POS collateral, to video assets, to social media, to every detail of our state of the art ZAK Headquarters.
Director of Training & Inside Sales
Laurie’s passion for people engagement and professional development perfectly aligns with ZAK’s unique and highly impactful world-class training portfolio.
She believes every customer experience is memorable and with the right training that memory should be exceptional! Her leadership role extends to include internal communications, team development and strategic support to business expansion opportunities.
Director of eCommerce
Michael came aboard ZAK in 2011 and has been the consummate utility player ever since. His current role focuses on leading all aspects of our eCommerce platform, our CRM and our customer support system. This includes system integration, reporting, ticket resolution, process improvement and more. Michael is often the sales team’s first call with any question and his phone number resides in everyone’s “favorites” in their phone lists.
STRATEGIC SOURCING MANAGER
Mic Van Wie
Mic joined ZAK Automotive in 2015 as Strategic Sourcing Manager. That is a fancy title that means she is solely focused on seeking out great supplier partners to help dealerships achieve huge savings on items, equipment and products they must purchase to run their business. Mic came to ZAK with a decade of experience in this specialized role in the automotive industry and has quickly found, negotiated, secured, and implemented dozens of programs that have yielded tremendous savings for our customers.
Jason joined ZAK Automotive in 2012 as Account Director for the Western region. He resides in Phoenix and manages all customers in Arizona, New Mexico and California. With over 20 years of industry experience, Jason’s expertise manifests in developing productive and close relationships with his customers. This allows him to be an extremely effective trainer, advisor to dealership management and true partner to his accounts. The ZAK team will tell you Jason has an incredible energy and passion for our business and he is motivated by seeing his accounts be more profitable and the service advisors be more successful.
Casey joined the ZAK Automotive team in 2015 with over 8 years in the automotive industry. Her passion for customer service and assisting our ZAK dealership customers grow their business is evident in how she strategically maps out her time each day. Casey has found innovative ways to pull dealership departments together to share a vision for new profit driving business practices. Casey successfully manages many accounts in the DFW area as well as several in Kansas and Missouri. She integrates social media into her customer engagement strategy to share best practices and customer wins.
Jereme joined ZAK Automotive in 2016 as Account Director. He resides in Dallas and manages customers in Texas, the Midwest and the Southeast. With over a decade of industry experience, Jereme approaches each day as an opportunity to help advisors hone their skills and grow their business. His shoulder-to-shoulder training style allows him to effectively educate, motivate and have fun with his dealer customers. We benefit from and thoroughly enjoy Jereme’s witty sense of humor.
ZAK Automotive welcomed Gay in 2008 and she has been managing all field operations for the ZAKTEK retention program ever since. Her primary focus is being front and center with our dealership customers to ensure they are selling the ZAKTEK program effectively to drive profit to their bottom line and for retention. Gay does this through manager and producer training. In addition, she manages the NEXEMO Promo division, assisting customers on specific branding and apparel needs. Gay’s personal brand can be simply described as “immeasurable energy” and “zest for life”y which we have come to love and enjoy!
A graduate of William Woods University with a B.S. in Accounting, Heath Jones joined ZAK Automotive in 2012. As Controller, Heath has ultimate responsibility for maintaining financial activities for all divisions of ZAK Automotive. He has quickly become an integral part of our team contributing his millennial perspective, accounting and financial expertise every day. While Heath’s key responsibilities are focused on ZAK’s books and financial health, he finds time to help coach teammates on Excel and interpret his strategic reporting.
TECHNICIAN / EQUIPMENT TRAINER & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Lonnie started in the automotive industry in 1984 when he opened a muffler and brake shop in Dallas with his father. ZAK welcomed Lonnie to the team in 2003 and he became a versatile teammate with focus on field technician and equipment training as well as equipment maintenance and repair. Lonnie is also our resident Product Development Specialist and does extensive testing and formulation consulting to ensure we provide the highest quality products to our customers. ZAK customers love his enthusiasm for training their technicians.
Distribution Center Manager
Jim joined ZAK Automotive in 2003 but has been around cars and trucks his whole life as his father owned a truck repair shop. Jim manages the ZAK Distribution Center including all logistics, order management and vendor liaison activities. He is the heartbeat of the team when it comes to making sure our customers get the right product on time. The ZAK team relies on Jim to keep our business functioning well day to day, and during month end, he works magic to ensure the influx of orders are processed and deadlines are flawlessly met.
Office Manager & Customer Event Planner
Jesse joined ZAK Automotive in 2013 and quickly became an asset to each team member and the business. She office manages the Distribution Center, ZAK HQ, all team and customer events as well as countless day to day business driving necessity requests. The events range from team building dinners, to ZAK Gives Back volunteer outings, to a large educational and celebration format Summit with over 200 of our best customers. The ZAK team has come to love and benefit from Jesse’s always positive and “we’ll get it done” approach to anything that comes her way.
DISTRIBUTION CENTER ASSISTANT MANAGER
Steve joined ZAK Automotive in 2005 and has been part of the tremendous growth and facility upgrades over the years. Steve is typically one of the first team members at the Distribution Center (DC) each morning as he is responsible for meticulously assembling and preparing all orders that come through the system and delivering orders in the DFW area. Customers and ZAK associates rely on Steve for accuracy and timely execution of orders. If you come by the DC, you’ll find Steve driving the forklift and preparing product shipments as he jams out to music and sings along, often with his own lyrics!
FIELD SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Kevin joined ZAK Automotive in 2003 and has been a familiar face for our customers in Phoenix ever since. He manages equipment, conducts technician training and uncovers sales opportunities that help us grow the business. The Phoenix market is home to over 30 ZAK customers and Kevin is one of two local associates who has daily interaction with and efficiently and effectively supports these important dealership partners. The ZAK team has come to love Kevin’s quiet but passionate contributions to the company and without question he is always ready and able to jump in whatever the challenge.

ZAK welcomed Sarah to the team in 2017. Sarah’s extensive background in sales, marketing and customer relations in the automotive industry directly align with ZAK’s business model and customer experience goals. Sarah’s contributions and experience extend beyond sales as her financial and technical proficiencies add tremendous depth to our talented team. Sarah has quickly contributed in significant ways to our team and she’s just getting started.

ZAK welcomed Zack to the team in 2017. His professional experience in business development, sales and marketing roles have given him the skills to improve processes, enhance efficiencies and develop cross-functional cooperation. And of course, we love his name!
Sales Support and Project Lead
Josh joined the ZAK team in 2017. He brings experience from service industries and has skills in marketing and communications. Josh plays an integral role in supporting sales activities and process functions for ZAK, NEXEMO and ZAKTEK. While Josh is new to the automotive industry, his father is a mechanic, so he grew up around the business and he loves it. Josh’s youth adds tremendous value to our business and fun to our team!
